Juliana Addison MP Visit

On Wednesday, our School Captains had the pleasure of participating in a workshop with Juliana Addison MP. 

The focus of the workshop was engaging an audience and developing the art of public speaking. Annabel, Jasper, Riley & Ruby prepared for the workshop by reflecting on what areas they wanted to learn more about and prepared questions for Juliana accordingly.

Juliana shared many anecdotes with the Captains, and reiterated her messages of, “when in doubt, be kind”, and always thank people for their time, even if things don’t go your way.

It was a wonderful opportunity for Captains to speak with such a vibrant leader and provided Mr Phillips and I with many moments of pride, as we sat listening to our incredible Captains, and why they value not only our school, but their leadership roles.

Juliana commented a number of times how impressive our Captains are, and what safe and exciting hands our school community is in, under their leadership…we have to agree with her!
