A message from

 the Principal

As we finish the term, please ask your child the following question: What have you achieved in Semester One 2023 at KHS? Ask your child to reflect on how they believe they have worked in all of their classes so far in 2023. The opportunities available to all students at KHS if they are willing to be proactive and participate when at school are never-ending. Our school mantra is …your education is what you make of it and many KHS students are doing this in a very positive & pro-active manner – as your principal I thank you for this. Please have a conversation with your child over the holidays and ask them what they want to achieve at KHS for the remainder of 2023 and beyond.

Congratulations to all students who have received a positive postcard home this term, receiving one of these is proof that you have been performing well in the classroom, keep it going.

As we finish semester one I would also like to thank all the staff, both teaching and non-teaching, in the KHS community for the great work they do in our school each & everyday.

Have a great holiday, get out & enjoy the pristine beauty of this wonderful part of Australia in which we live.

All students return Tuesday 18 July.

Regards,

Simon McKinney
