Green Team Newsletter
We have had a wonderful first semester of the year in Green Team. The biggest highlight are definitely the chickens. The kids simply love them and spend so much time in and around the coop which has been lovely to see. The egg and produce sales are also going great!
Thank you to everybody who helped in the garden so far. We cannot wait for spring to do some beautiful planting again.
Wishing the whole community fun, green and restful holidays, and we will see you all next term.
Eggs and produce from the Le Page chickens and our vegie patch will be available on a first come, first served basis, twice per week, both Wednesdays and Fridays.
We have a trolley set up at the school entrance and an 'honour system' for payment. We recommend $3 per half dozen eggs, and $3-$5 for the produce when it is available. (Cash only). All money will go towards our chickens and school gardens.
Wonder Recycling Rewards
Do you want to help our planet by recycling soft plastics and get free sports equipment for our school along the way?? Of course you do…
We are very excited to announce that we will be again joining the Wonder Recycling Rewards Program in 2023. Last year, our soft plastic recycling raised enough points for us to get some free sports equipment for our wonderful school. Let’s see if we can get even more points this year and get even more free sports equipment.
The recycling program begins in Term 2, and we will have further information about the program over the coming weeks.
Remember to join us for Garden Club from 12.30pm on Mondays (2nd half of lunch) and for Green Team at lunch on Wednesdays! See you then
Have a great week!
