Year 11 Aspire

Year 11 Aspire students worked their way through some of the local gorges of Fringe Lilly and Hugh and some remarkable landscapes. Many students prepared for months to adjust to the conditions of walking daily during this 10-day journey through the West MacDonnell Ranges with a 30 metre abseil into the currently, balmy Hugh Gorge and a 48-hour solo on the cards. They will be focused on their ability to Lead, Communicate, Self-Reflect and move through the Environment with minimal impact.

The photos do not do it justice and unfortunately are only from the staff trip last week to go and set up the program. There will be many more photos as many groups will be carrying GoPro cameras to record their adventures.
