Black Ranges Netball

Well done to our senior and intermediate basketball teams who have competed in the Black Ranges tournament recently.

On Thursday 13th July, six senior boys made the trek down the highway to Ararat. All students had a wonderful day led by Judd Wright as the most senior player. Our team came away with two wins overall and “Gilbert” was the three point shooting star. Thank you to Angus for refereeing the games. On Monday 17th July, the intermediate girls team consisting of six players had strong wins against Warracknabeal and Murtoa College. The girls narrowly lost to Horsham College B and Horsham College A were too strong in the final game. Congratulations to all the students on wonderful sportsmanship throughout the day and Sienna for refereeing.

The intermediate boys team also played on Monday. Our Intermediate A team had a great day, winning against Horsham College B 21 to 18, Warracknabeal 31 to 5, HTLC 18 to 16 and Murtoa College 32 to 11. This allowed them to play in the grand final where they lost to Horsham College A 19 to 38. Our Intermediate B team also played and had a couple close games. Well done to all students who participated and thank you to the staff for accompanying them.
