Celebrating Our Success

As the end of the year rapidly approaches, it is worthwhile for our community to celebrate the remarkable success of groups and individuals who spend their days learning at Glen Eira College.  For some of these students, their success has come in an area of natural giftedness. But for most, their success comes from effort, toil and perseverance. French writer Luc de Clapiers believed that true fulfilment and dignity was achieved through personal endeavour.  He went on to say that “The fruit derived from labour is the sweetest of pleasures.”

Our students have experienced so many successes in recent weeks that we did not want to wait to share them with you.  These triumphs reflect students’ ability to work hard, endure struggle, fail, and try again.

In this newsletter, our emphasis is on our sporting success at recent State Championships and our Year 12 Valedictorians.  These success stories would not be possible without the ongoing support of the parents and carers of these wonderful students.  We offer our sincere thanks to them for nurturing, supporting and guiding each incredible young person through their educational journey.
