KPS Shooting Stars

Hi my name is David.

I am a part of the Kingswood RACV Energy Breakthrough team, the Shooting Stars. As you know, in November we are doing the RACV challenge. Our vehicle is human powered (HPV). This means that it is pedal powered. The race is 14 hours long and we all have a turn of driving.

In the lead-up to the race, we have been doing some bike rides for training. We meet up every Saturday at 11am and ride a 7km loop around Braeside Park. I've also done some longer bike rides with my Dad to help with my stamina.

We have started some sessions with Mr Kato, learning about how to handle the vehicle. Soon we are planning to get into the vehicle and ride it for training as well.
