Acceptance Poem

Sometimes it feels like you’ll never fit in

No matter the background no matter the skin

When people ignore you your heart just drops

But when they involve you your sad bubble pops

It feels good to be invited into a group

It’s better than being lonely and left out of the troop

Your emotions have changed but looks stay the same

That’s still fine it’s the way that you came

Now your shame has been turned into joy

Just like the pleasure you get out of a toy

Now you can shine bright like a star

Just remember to be who you are
