Year 2 News 

Roald Dahl

This term the Year 2 students are enjoying reading a range of Roald Dahl novels as class serials. The students are enjoying his quirky writing style and the way he describes his characters.

The stories we have read so far are:

* The BFG

* The Twits

* The Giraffe the Pelly and Me

* The Magic Finger

* Fantastic Mr Fox

* Charlie and The Chocolate Factory

We have been comparing and contrasting between the stories and have enjoyed identifying some unique word choices Roald Dahl uses.

In response to the texts we have read, students last week completed some writing tasks and got very creative.
