Green Team Litter Audit

Last week in the Green Team, we picked up rubbish all over the school and we found that litter is a big problem at Kingswood! We were shocked to find 73 pieces of rubbish in the junior area, 55 in the middle area and 89 in the senior area. This added up to a total of 217 pieces of rubbish, just in one day!

This is a problem because this rubbish can be blown over to Braeside Park or down to Mordialloc beach and animals can get caught in it or eat it by mistake. The Green Team made a video which we showed at assembly to remind Kingswood Kids to put their rubbish in the bin! Have a look at our video and photos.
