Prep Rubbish Busters

The Preps make a difference 

Throughout this term, the Prep students have been learning about 'The Sea'. As we were diving deep into this unit of work, we started to realise that our oceans and sea life are not as healthy as they used to be! We discovered that humans are polluting our environment and this is having a huge impact on our marine life! 

The Preps decided that they need to help! They came up with a few ideas about what they could do. Some ideas included, making jumpers for the penguins that have been caught in oil spills and picking up rubbish in our school yard so that it doesn't fly away into the ocean. Here are some photos of Prep C picking up all the rubbish in the school yard and sorting it into the correct bins.

We hope that the school community can help look after our ocean and sea life too, before it is too late!
