Principal's Report

Principal's Report
Last week, on our student free day, we worked using evidence of student learning to teach our students what they are ready to learn next. This is often called targeted teaching. An important part of this equation is getting accurate evidence of student learning.
Throughout the school, we do this in a number of ways, including OnDemand testing and NAPLAN. It is vitally important that students show high effort in these tests.
In a few weeks’ time, year 7 & 9 students will be sitting NAPLAN tests. It is important to encourage your children to try and persevere in NAPLAN so that we call all see what they have learnt, and what they are ready to learn next. Just increasing effort and concentration on the day can have a big impact on student results.
We wish all students well and look forward to seeing the learning growth of each student.
