Cross Country

On Friday, the 20th of May, twelve Staughton students travelled to Gisborne to take on the tough cross-country course for 2016.

Students were optimistic about their chances, needing only to get in the top ten of each age group race to move on to the next round. Their confidence shined through, as around four out of the twelve will move on to the next round at Brimbank Park. The best performance for the day came from Chelsea Lapsley, who managed to finish third in her age group by running a solid time in the three-kilometre event.

Well done to all who participated on the day, you all represented Staughton with pride and effort.
