Inside the Senior School

This fortnight, students have been learning a range of new information and knowledge applications:

For Inquiry Learning,  we have continued to investigate and learn about the different Natural Disasters that occur in our world.  Students have learned the why's and how's various disasters such as Floods, Hurricanes and Earthquakes, to name a few, occur.  

For English, we have looked at review writing and discussion writing, showing students how to appropriately and accurately write in these styles highlights the ways in which persuasive and narrative elements can be further utilised in their writing pieces. 

In Mathematics, we have worked on our data displays and extended our learning about time and timetabling.  

Our students have also been busy working on their Graduation Memoirs and Passion Projects also.   Each page includes a specific style of writing relating to either a year at school (Grade 6's) or their Passion Project (Grade 5's), along with some artistic decoration. They have been working extremely hard on these and are very excited for everyone to see the fruits of their labour.
