Music News- Week 36
Christmas Concert
The Christmas Band, Chamber Orchestra, Brass Ensemble, Treble Choir, Barbershop and Senior Voices will be performing a Christmas Concert this Tuesday 24 November, at 3:30pm in Roncalli Hall. Students performing in the concert may leave Period 6 early on Tuesday, to attend their warm-up venues:
- Christmas Band – PAC Band Room
- Chamber Orchestra – PAC Keyboard Lab
- All Singers – PAC Classroom
Students and parents are invited to join in a shared afternoon tea following the performances, for which students are asked to contribute a plate to share. These can be dropped into the Music Department at the beginning of the day, if preferred.

Presentation Evening Details
Please note the following details for musical items at the upcoming Presentation Evening:

Students performing in Presentation Evening are not required to secure tickets for the event, however family members are asked to collect free tickets for the night, via the following link. Attire for Secondary performers is full College Winter uniform, while Primary students are to wear College uniform, with socks (not stockings).

Music Incentive Awards 2021
Applications are now open for students currently in Year 7, to receive an Instrumental Incentive Award for 2021. These Awards provide students with the opportunity to learn on rare and unique instruments, and to integrate into the College’s various ensembles – for free! This year, Incentive Awards are available for viola, oboe, bassoon and Jazz guitar. Year 7 families will have received an email with a link to apply, with a closing date of Friday 4 December.
Enrolment for Instrumental Tuition 2021
Applications to enrol in instrumental lessons in 2021 are open! Students already enrolled in lessons will automatically be continued for next year, but those looking to join our incredible cohort of young musicians can do so by completing our online form.
