Junior Class

We have had a week full of fun and exciting activities in the Junior Room and the students continue to show me how enthusiastic and joyful they are towards their learning.  We started off with a terrific bike/scooter excursion on Monday down to the skate park.  The Juniors did a wonderful job of riding their bikes and scooters and I had a lot of fun with my group on our bikes!  Also on Monday we started to get our creative juices flowing making and preparing some entries into our school show.  We decorated biscuits and made some pet rocks.  The creativity of all the students were then put on display on Wednesday.  Children brought in some remarkable Lego, cooking, and flower arrangements, just to name a few.  What a wonderful day we all had looking at the entries, eating some food and participating in lots of games and activities.

Senior Class

We’ve had a creative last few days in the senior class.  Last Friday some of the students baked cupcakes for the whole school.  The students did a great job designing their spooky muffins, they looked delicious and tasted even better (a big thank you to Mia for helping me in the kitchen, I was a bit lost)!  The senior class also engaged in clay sculpting for this week's School Show Day.  I was blown away by the patience and determination of the students.  In the Show the seniors displayed a snowman, a pig, a bowl of spaghetti and fork, a dachshund, a donut and some many other incredible creations!  It’s been a short but extremely busy week, so well done for the students and families for their support and enthusiasm, it’s been so much fun!

This week we continue to acknowledge the significant role of the "Brown Joeys" in the establishment of St Patrick's School, and recognised Georgia and Mia with Little Joey awards.

Our Little Joeys receive a certificate, sticker and a voucher/goods donated by a local business.  This week's vouchers were donated by Wimmera Bakery.  We are very grateful for the contributions from our local businesses.
