Enrolment for Foundation 2021 opened at the commencement of Term Two.

 

In 2021, we will be limiting our Foundation enrolments to two classes only, therefore it is important that you enrol your child as soon as possible.

From 2020 onwards, all primary school transition programs will commence in Term Four, and be based upon the newly introduced Department of Education and Training (DET) guidelines:

On-Site Foundation Transition Details

Please refer to the below information which was sent out to families via Compass on Friday 30/10/2020. 

 

Dear Parents/ Carers of 2021 Foundation Students, 

 

We are very pleased to be able to confirm that On-Site Transition Sessions are now allowable under CovidSafe Guidelines for Victorian Government schools. Please read the following information carefully, as you are required to action this information by making a telephone booking.

 

We will be holding two on-site Transition Sessions over the coming month, as per below:

 

Transition Session # 1

  • When: Wednesday 11th November 2020 (you choose from the time slots below)
  • Duration: 30 minutes sessions
  • Where: Foundation classrooms
  • Who: students and parents (five students maximum per session, with one accompanying adult per student)
  • Timeslots (choose one only): 9:10am-9:40am, 9:45am-10:15am, 10:40am-11:10am, 11:15am-11:45am, 11:50am-12:20pm, 1:10pm- 1:40pm, 2:40pm-3:10pm

How to make a booking for Session #1:

 In order to manage bookings, we are utilizing the traditional telephone booking method for this round of transition.You are required to make a booking verbally, by phoning the school office on 9757 0200 between 9:00am-4:00pm weekdays. Phone Bookings will open from 9:00am on Wednesday 4th November. 

 

Additional Information for Session #1:

  • Unfortunately, no additional siblings or adults are able to attend Session #1. One parent/carer will be able to accompany each enrolled student for the duration of the session.
  • Students from varying kinder sites may attend the same or different timeslots.
  • You choose a timeslot which suits your family.
  • Additional information such as, what to bring, where to park, etc will be provided when you place your telephone booking.

Transition Session # 2

  • When: Monday 16th November 2020 (you choose from the time slots below)
  • Duration: 60 minutes sessions
  • Where: Foundation classrooms
  • Who: students only (eight students maximum per session)
  • Time slots (choose one only): 9:45am-10:45am, 10:50am-11:50am, 12:00pm-1:00pm, 1:45pm-2:45pm

How to make a booking for Session #2:

 ​In order to manage bookings, we are utilizing the traditional telephone booking method for this round of transition. You are required to make a booking verbally, by phoning the school office on 9757 0200 between 9:00am-4:00pm weekdays.  Phone Bookings will open from 9:00am on Wednesday 4th November. 

 

Additional Information for Session #2:

  • Unfortunately, no additional siblings or adults are able to attend Session #2.
  • During the session, parents/carers are unable to remain on-site.
  • Students from varying kinder sites may attend the same or different timeslots.
  • You choose a timeslot which suits your family.

Additional information, such as what to bring, where to park, how we will manage without parents/carers, etc will be provided when you place your telephone booking. 

 

Unfortunately, due to CovidSafe Restrictions and extenuating circumstances, our school is unable to offer any additional transition sessions.

Are you an existing family with a child due to commence Foundation in 2021?

As an existing family within our school community, we ask that you complete an enrolment form if you have a child who is due to commence Foundation in 2021. 

Recommending new families to our school

If you are recommending our school to a local family, it is important that they be able to make an informed decision. Therefore, we highly recommend that all new families make contact with the Principal directly via damien.kitch@education.vic.gov.au
