WELCOME BACK!

Dear Parents,

Welcome back to Term Four!

We hope that all families enjoyed a safe and relaxing holiday. We know it has been a very challenging year and not what we had planned for the Preps first year at school! We are so proud of each and every one of the students and their effort during remote learning. Thank-you so much to all of you for your support!

We are looking forward to finally having the Preps back to school! Term Four will bring about many fantastic opportunities for learning, team building, social skill development and strengthening oral language skills in preparation for the transition to Grade One.

Reports will be sent home again at the end of this term. With the report you will be notified of your child's class teacher for the following school year when they move into their Grade 1/ 2 class. Teachers work with leadership and put a lot of effort into making sure the needs of your child are met when creating the class groups, for the following school year. All students will also be involved in a Transition program at the end of the year, to get to know their new teacher and classmates for 2021.

No Hat, No Play!

Since it is now Term Four, our ‘No Hat, No Play’ policy will again be reinforced.  Students who do not wear their school hat will be asked to stay under some shade in the playground. Just a reminder the Preps will leave their school hats in their locker for the entire term. Please ensure your child has both their hat and a water bottle with them each day, as the warmer weather is fast approaching. A roll on sunscreen is a great idea for your child to be able to put on themselves too!

Please read through the information outlining this term, and do not hesitate to email us at any time if you have any questions.
