Friday 4th December Pupil Free Day.

This is our school's 4th scheduled Pupil Free day for 2020.  This a Professional Learning Day for teachers and was originally scheduled to be on October 23rd however that became a public holiday. We have placed it as late in the year as possible so as not to disrupt student learning since our recent return to school. On this Pupil Free Day, our staff will be working on our 2021 planning. This will include strengthening our plans around literacy, and mapping out key learning goals for the year. Staff will have the opportunity to work in their 2021 teams and plan for Term 1.

Team Kids will be in operation during the Pupil Free Day. If you require care for

your child on this dayplease visit the TeamKids website to register your booking.

Final Reminder:

LOTE (Languages Other than English) Program Review & Survey

We have shared in some previous communications that the Education Committee sub-committee of School Council is currently reviewing the languages offered in our LOTE (Languages Other than English) program at Brighton PS. Part of the review process is to share some data and statistics with the parent community and gather feedback on the language we offer at BPS.

We invite you to read the prepared information on LOTE and complete this survey by clicking this link to the LOTE Program Review Survey

The due date for survey completion: Friday 30th October 2020.

Thank You

Joel Snowden on behalf of the Education Committee.

Pet Search

A BPS family is looking for a dog to join their family, if anyone is - or knows of anyone who may be - struggling to look after their family dog, please give Alexis Phillips (0423 188 851) a call to chat about the possibility of rehoming their dog to our friendly, active family.
