A date for the Book Week Dress Up Day/Parade has been set - we look forward to seeing some curious creatures and everyone's favourite book characters come to school on Thursday November 26.

Students have been busy earning their Roowards since returning to school. The Roowards shop opens on Fridays during Recess. Students can cash in their rewards for a prize of their choice. Pictured below is Lolah Joubert who earnt 30 roowards and exchanged them for a $10 voucher from Foodworks.

MATES Mentoring

Wimmera Southern Mallee Local Learning and Employment Network (WSMLLEN) is pleased that the Mates Program is returning to the Wimmera! Although its a little different due to COVID restrictions and guidelines, it will now be in a format involving off campus mentoring which will take place with very detailed protocols to minimise ant risk to mentors, mentees ands the broader community. In-school mentoring will not operate until further notice.

Mentoring has a valuable role to play in supporting young people in the region and is now more important than ever.

Anyone interested is encouraged to attend a virtual information session on Friday October 30 at 1pm (via zoom) where potential volunteers can learn more about the program and the COVID-safe protocols. Participants can also telephone in to this information session. For more information about the session and the program please check out their facebook page or email mates@llen.com.au

Booklists 2021

Please note Warrnambool Books is now known as Campion Education. Campion Education is Edenhope College's book supplier.

2021 Booklists are currently being prepared and will be sent out to parents at the beginning of November. Whilst paper copies of the booklists will still be sent home, the ordering process has now moved online. Links to all booklists will all be available on the Edenhope College website. Parents will need to create an account with Campion Education (simply provide an email address and password). Then simply select the relevant booklist and the items your child requires. Please note payment will now be required at the time of placing the order.

If you have any issues with payment at the time of ordering, please contact the Front Office for assistance.

Booklists will be available for collection from Edenhope College on Book distribution day, Friday January 15, 2021. This is certainly the option to select if you are ordering books for more than one student in your family.

Alternatively parents can choose to get their orders delivered to their home address. Delivery will be capped at $10 per student if placed before December 11.

The December deadline is set to guarantee that books will be with students in time for the beginning of term.  Please note that after the December deadline, delivery of books to your home address will cost $22 per student. Alternatively you can arrange to collect your order from Campion Education in Warrnambool.

Students/parents are welcome to purchase texts and stationary for all booklists either from previous students or other sources, providing they are the correct edition/the same as stated on the booklist.

Edenhope Motorbike Club

Sunday saw an official race practice for our new Edenhope motor bike track and bike club. Fifty competitors were allowed at the track site from all ages.

I really enjoy a motorbike ride and I know lots of our students are passionate about riding. There was a great photo opportunity with a lot of them at the end of the first straight. I may even have to seriously think about getting a bike (that goes slow!!), down the track
