MR G’S HIGHLIGHTS! WHAT’S BEEN HAPPENING AT SPS?

It’s been a busy but wonderful past two weeks at Somerville Primary School.  We had Mrs Harvey’s Farewell assembly which was amazing, all of the students and staff enjoyed getting to catch up with her one last time at SPS.

We have had our first two Stepping Stones sessions for our 2023 Foundation students. It has been exciting to see all of them coming in to school with big smiles ready to begin their Somerville Primary School learning journey. Whilst there is only 5 weeks of the term to go we still have a number of events to look forward to such as Year 1 & Year 2 Swimming and the Foundation LegoLand excursion next week. We also have the Senior School Market, Middle School LegoLand excursion, our beloved Somerville Primary School Christmas Concert and of course Year 6 Graduation.

A special reminder that today10:30am-11:00am we have our Remembrance Day service.

HATS

Just a reminder that all students need to be wearing a sun smart hat each and every day this term. Thank you for your continued support with this.

READING NIGHTS

Congratulations to all of the students that have reached reading nights milestones throughout Term 4. I look forward to celebrating our reading nights party on Wednesday 7th of December. Students will need to have reached the 200 night milestone by this date to attend the celebration.

ASSEMBLY AWARDS

Congratulations to all of our Somerville Star Award winners at our last assembly. You have all done a sensational job and set a wonderful example for your classmates.
