" Well Somerville Primary School family where has 2022 gone? I cant believe its November already. Once again this year there have been lots of changes and re-adjusting as we navigate life post Co-Vid. Sometimes life can seem full on for us and our children.
I found one of the Anglicare Poscasts useful if a child is easily overloaded and suffers meltdowns.
Its called "Meltdowns and Tantrums".
This podcast looks at the differences between a meltdown and a tantrum. It discusses what might cause a meltdown and how this might present for the individual. What are the causes of these, how the brain is impacted and how to support and if possible prevent a meltdown from happening.
