Grade 1&2:

Over the last couple of weeks, the Grade 1&2s have been involved in some very exciting events. We have just concluded our swimming program which was an excellent opportunity for many of us to step outside of our comfort zone and develop greater independence. We particularly enjoyed the final day where we participated in an adventurous, inflatable obstacle course.

After we explored the power of persuasive language, we applied this knowledge to create our own eye-catching cereal boxes. Our aim was to convince a targeted audience to purchase our products. We were amazed by our collective creativeness and engagement.

We are now busy getting stuck into fascinating scientific investigations. We are looking at how temperature, time and force cause change. Recently we observed corn kernels popping into popcorn, ice melting and the process of making Oobleck.
