FREE BREAD, MILK AND FRUIT EVERY WEDNESDAY

Breakfast Club Baskets continue to be popular. Our Health Ambassadors and their teacher mentors are managing the program with great enthusiasm and diligence. Goodies are available at 8.30am, as we try to support students who may not have had any breakfast.

Lest We Forget

Bella was proudy wearing her poppy for our whole school Remembrance Day ceremony. Taking time to remember shows respect and gratitude for those that served our country in wartime. Our whole school was very respectful during our ceremony where Mr Barren, our School Captains and SRC Leaders spoke.

Therapist visits to LPPS

Allied health professionals such as speech pathologists, occupational therapists, psychologists, and early intervention key workers play a crucial role in our community. We value the work they do with many of our students to support them with their learning needs as well as their social and emotional development. If your child works with a therapist that would like to conduct a session with your child onsite at LPPS – either as a one-off or in an ongoing capacity we ask that they get in touch with Deb Haddow or Luana Lane prior to these visits. We look forward to welcoming them onsite.

Lunchtime Club Fun

Wednesday in the Library from middle bell students have been creating some amazing Lego structures. The most wonderful part is listening to the conversations, watching respectful play and seeing some of the incredible things they can make in 30 minutes. Here are Paxton and Jackson, they worked together to create a vehicle with moving parts.

Assembly will be on Fridays on odd weeks of this term during session 5. Dates remaining are Friday, Nov 18, Dec 2 and 16. They are held in the Gym starting at 2.00pm and we have a video link you can watch also.

Attendance We continue to look closely at our attendance data and support students who may have trouble with regular attendance. Weekly meetings are offered to support students and families.

We also have weekly meetings with the families of students on Behaviour Support Plans so we can work together to understand situations happening and how we can best support the student to make great choices.

We will recognise student attendance at the conclusion of every term.

Just a reminder that we are an accredited Sunsmart school. This means students are strongly encouraged to wear their broad brimmed school hat or stay in the shade. From September until May, no hat means no play. UV rays increase in intensity from September—these are what burn the especially sensitive skin of children—even on cloudy days.
