Kids Corner

The Kids Corner section of this fortnight’s newsletter features a narrative by Navya (Year 2). I trust everyone enjoys reading her narrative just as much as I did! 

I’m Hungry by Navya (Year 2)

An old lady came marching into a shopping mall. She was clutching her tummy because she was scrumptious. She walked furiously to the vending machine. She smiled at the last packet of cookies. She hungrily placed the coins into the vending machine and waited and waited. 

After she couldn’t resist anymore she hit the machine and out came tumbling the cookies ……. “He, he, Tea!” she said as she walked towards the train station and was desperate to eat them. 

She slid onto the seat at the train station and she opened the bag ……. Well the rest is history!
