Catholic Mission SOCKTOBER Wrap Up
Last week we held our Catholic Mission SOCKTOBER fundraiser. Our day began with a Liturgy of the Word in our hall, followed by the making of the sockballs and then an Ethiopian-style lunch. A big thank you to Cherie and Connie Mundkowski for providing the yummy lunch.
Thanks to those who donated to the Catholic Mission Appeal on behalf of the students of St Joseph's Warialda. We raised $101 for the Deberety Farm project in Emdibir where raising goats to produce milk for infants is the target project.
Baptism
Please pray for Harper Findlater, Archer Whalan, and these St Joseph's children who will be baptized in the next two weeks:
Creator God,
We thank you for the gift of the life of this child who is to be baptized.
May your blessing of peace and joy be with them
and protect them all of their days.
We make this prayer in the name of your Son, Jesus.
We will be offering the Sacrament of Penance in Term 1 2023 and First Holy Communion in Term 2 2023 to coincide with the feast of Corpus Christi in June.
God bless you and keep you safe.
