Aquatic Education kicks off next Monday and will take place every day next week except Wednesday. The children are requested to wear the full sports uniform each day, please also make sure that the students have their bathers on underneath their uniform.
Hopefully most people have completed the swimming ability survey as this is used to inform the swimming teachers as to your child's grouping. The swim teachers will use this information along with an assessment on the first morning to establish each child's grouping.
Parents are welcome to attend but are requested to stay seated away from the pool deck.
As previously announced the school sports day has been rescheduled to next Wednesday November 30 back at Coburg Athletics Track. The students will travel to and from the venue by bus with the day running from about 9.30 until 2pm. Fingers crossed the weather holds out for this day!
This is an exciting day with lots of fun which the children really look forward to as it is a chance to represent their house. Parents are welcome to come along and cheer along with the students.
On Tuesday November 22 the 5/6 girls headed out to Dandenong for the State Basketball Championships. This was a great experience for the girls and they represented the school proudly in what is a prestigious event. They put in a great effort winning one of their games and competing hard in the others to eventually finish in the top 20 schools out of 353! Congratulations to Nevah, Ella, Arabella, Rebecca, Odessa, Bianca, Sloane and Charlie on an outstanding achievement in taking the school all the way to the state championships!
