CHILD SAFETY IS EVERYONE'S RESPONSIBILITY

CHILD SAFE CHAMPIONS

Child safe champions work in schools with all members of the community to create a child safe environment. They act as a point of contact for child safety concerns for staff, volunteers and students. Child safe champions assist a school in promoting a culture of safety, support and guidance.

We have a team of Child safe champions and we know that as trusted adults in the school our students have someone they can talk to if they are feeling unsafe or have concerns. Our students know who these individuals are in school, but we also need our families to know that we are all willing and able to support and guide them when needed. We ask families to continue to encourage students to seek support from a trusted adult either in the family or school.
