2023 Parent community sign-ups are open

There are many opportunities for Kilvington parents to get involved with the School via the PFA. We encourage every family to look at the range of available activities, events and programs and consider how they may be able to join in. 

 

Whether you act as CSR, help out at special events or join the PFA Executive, you will be warmly welcomed and well-supported, with your time and effort much appreciated. It’s a great opportunity to forge new friendships, have fun and help strengthen our wonderful school community. 

 

You can view the 2023 PFA and CSR sign-up here. There is no limit to the number of people who can volunteer for a role; in fact, we encourage more than one representative to share tasks and have fun together. 

 

There's a huge variety of roles available with a lot of flexibility, and all time and knowledge volunteered is very much appreciated. Please contact Nadine Power via npower1616@gmail.com with any questions. 

PFA AGM & Volunteer Thank You event - Wed 23 Nov

Please join us for the annual PFA AGM in the Sport Centre on Wed 23 Nov from 7.00 - 8.30pm. 

All Kilvington families are members of PFA and everyone is welcome to share the celebration. We will start off with a toast. Cheers! Reports will then be tabled and the new roles for 2023  awarded. 

 

At 7.30pm, a Volunteer Thank You event will be hosted by the School to thank our community for the enormous amount of time and effort given through volunteering, no matter how large and small. 

 

We greatly appreciate all efforts made to support the School, so if you have volunteered your time and expertise in any way during 2022, we warmly invite you to join us on the night.

Secondhand Uniform Shop (SHUS)

The last opening of the Secondhand Uniform Shop (SHUS) for the year will be held on Saturday 3 December from 9.00 to 11.00am in Dalton Hall. 

 

No bookings are required for sales, however if you have uniform items you would like to sell via consignment, you must make a booking here.

2022 Kilvington secondhand book list 

The 2022 Kilvington Grammar Secondhand Book List provides families the opportunity to buy and sell schoolbooks to others in our community. You will find the book list for 2023 on KCEE so you can check what is required.

Sign up for democracy sausage sizzle

The PFA will be running a sausage sizzle on Saturday 26 November when Victorians head to the polls for the State election. The obligatory 'democracy sausages' will be up for sale along with bacon and egg rolls and cool drinks. 

 

We need a team of volunteers to help out on the day, so if you are handy with a pair of tongs or love a good BBQ, please sign up here. Just a few hours of your time will be an enormous help and much appreciated.

Wanted - Cake Stall Coordinator for Election Day 

We are still looking for a few volunteers to help run the Cake Stall on Election Day.

Centenary Fete sign-ups 

Planning is well underway for the 2023 Centenary Fete. While we have coordinators for many of the stalls, we still need some willing participants to help with: 

  • Fruit salad cups
  • Hot chips
  • Showbags/lollies
  • Hot Dogs
  • Plants
  • Fairy floss
  • Choc Toss
  • Marques and tables

We are happy to have more than one coordinator per stall, so feel free to grab a mate and sign up. The more the merrier!
