A note from the Stage 3 teachers

Stage 3 teachers can’t believe that the end of the year is almost upon us! With only 5 weeks left of school we will certainly be busy. Students have been engaged in a range of learning activities such as conducting science experiments, delivering informative speeches on important Australian figures and continuing to improve their informative writing skills.

Reminders

An important reminder that even though the end of the year is drawing closer, it is vitally important that students replenish all supplies to ensure they are at school each day ready to learn. This includes making sure students are equipped with blue and red pens, rulers, glue sticks and a lead pencil each day.

  • calculate the sale price of an item after a discount has been applied
  • use the terms 'translate', 'reflect' and 'rotate' to describe the movement of two-dimensional shapes
  • visualise and sketch three-dimensional objects from different views

Other key learning areas
