Supporting Your Child’s Health at School

We all know that a healthy and happy child will reach their full potential if they are supported effectively. To do this, we ask that you meet with the school nurse if:

  • Your child has any allergies, asthma, anaphylaxis, or medical conditions if you haven’t done so already. This allows you to give further information regarding their condition and what level of support is required at school.
  • Your child has had any recent surgery which may affect what they can do at school.
  • Your child requires medication at school. We can ensure this is given as ordered by your doctor when needed. You will always be contacted if your child needs a medication because they are presenting with symptoms such as allergy or asthma.

If your child is unwell, we ask that you keep them home until they have recovered and feeling better. If you have any concerns, don’t hesitate to contact me to discuss further.

A healthy school environment means there are less infections being spread to others and keeps us all safe.

Remember, we are here to support your child’s health and wellbeing so they can get the most out of their experience at school. Your communication is greatly appreciated to ensure that this happens.

Warm regards,

Nurse Cecile
