Business Manager

Julie
Julie

I will start with me, Julie Milward, I have been working at Glen Waverley PS since 2015 as the Business Manager.  In this role I am responsible for all the Budgeting and Finance for the school overseeing all transactions receipting and account payables.  A major part of my role is taken up with Human Resources for the school which includes all aspects from the recruiting stage through to the regular payroll for staff and as we have a staff of nearly 90 individuals this is quite a responsibility.  Another area which I lead within the school is Occupational Health safety, where I am responsible for ensuring staff, students, parents, and the community are safe while on school premises. Part of this responsibility involves ensuring that we meet all our Essential Services Management requirements and organising practise evacuation and lockdown drills throughout the year, so that in the event of an emergency we are all safe.

Executive Assistant

Helen
Helen

Helen Hassiotis has been working at the school since 2019 and has the very important role of supporting Mr Catalano directly.  She assists him with the school’s building/facilities projects and supports him with his day-to-day administration.  She also ensures the newsletter is produced every fortnight and manages our school's website/marketing & communications. Prior to joining GWPS, Helen worked in Digital Media & Marketing. She has brought her impressive skills with her, and the school has benefited incredibly from her application of these skills in promoting the school.

Enrolment Officer

Daniel
Daniel

Daniel Itsines has been a valuable member of the team for two years, and I am sure most of you will have encountered him at some point.  A major part of Daniel’s role is looking after the enrolments for the school, but he also manages the Y6-Y7 Transition, the schools purchasing cards, event administration and the processing of Camps Sports and Excursion funds (CSEF).

Administration Officers

Jenna
Jenna

We are very lucky to have two administration officers Jenna and Daria. Jenna Kasapidis started at the school in 2019 but had a small break while she was growing her family but is back with us now in a part time capacity.  Daria McCulloch joined the school early 2022 and has become valuable addition to the team.  Daria and Jenna’s roles involve completing all administration tasks

Emma

Emma Attrill has been with us since February 2022 and does a great job looking after all the students when they come to sickbay.  She makes sure that first aid requirements are met for camps, excursions and sporting activities and ensures that all staff are fully trained in first aid so your child is safe both at school and offsite.
