VCE Japanese Excursion

On Friday 24 February, the VCE Japanese students travelled into the city to participate in workshops about Japanese culture.

We first headed to the NGV to observe beautiful Japanese artwork, such as a golden folding screen depicting Kyoto in the 17th century. Afterwards, we visited the Consulate-General of Japan, where we learned about all of the unique experiences that Japan has to offer, and options for visiting Japan later in life.

Of course, we finished the day with some really delicious ramen, and we were able to practise our Japanese skills throughout the entire excursion. It was a fun and interesting day out for everyone involved.
