A large number of our Year 12 students have now created a VTAC account and are working through the process of listing preferences as well as working through Special Access Entry Scheme (SEAS). We are working closely with all students to ensure they have a thorough understanding of this process and happy to assist one-one one if needed. 

2021 University Virtual Open Days

All Year 12 students considering further study are strongly encouraged to register for these days. If for some reason they are unable to attend the Virtual Open Day, registering means they will be kept up-to-date about other events, scholarships and accommodation options.

These virtual events would also be a great experience for current Year 11 students.

CASPer

Year 12 students intending to apply for Education courses will need to complete a CASPer test as part of application for admission. The CASPer test is an online screening tool designed to evaluate key personal and professional characteristics that make for successful students and graduates. It also increases fairness in applicant evaluation by providing admission committees with a reliable measure of traits.

Set Your Heart on a Career in Accounting

For a number of years now, local Accounting firms have offered students a work experience opportunity to get a first-hand insight into this very diverse industry.  Last week we had Ash and Daniel from GMG, Rosanna and David from Dodgshun Medlin and Adam from Pooles speak to our Year 10 students via Zoom. 

Quite a bit of interest was shown after the presentations so we anticipate that a number of students will apply.  This program is run in conjunction with Murray Mallee LLEN and we thank them for their support of this program and making the necessary arrangements for presentations.
