PATHWAYS

MEET SOME AUSTRALIAN VET ALUMNI

The Australian VET Alumni is a national community of VET graduates, VET practitioners, registered training organisations (RTOs), secondary schools, and businesses dedicated to sharing their VET journey with Australians to encourage greater participation and best practice in VET.

The NCI's podcast channel can inspire you to consider a vocational education and training (VET), or 'skills-based', career.

NCI interview people who have completed a VET qualification and have reached their career goals. You can also read the Podcast transcripts.

ACU TEACHING PATHWAYS

The Bachelor of Educational Studies has been designed for domestic and international students who are passionate about becoming teachers, but do not achieve the entry requirements to go directly into a Bachelor of Education (Primary) or the Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood and Primary).

Although the 3-year Bachelor of Educational Studies allows students to gain a qualification to work in education-related fields other than teaching, it is also designed as a pathway for students who wish to consider future study in teaching in Early Childhood and Primary Education.  Eligible students who successfully complete their first year of study (subject to meeting certain progression and non-academic requirements) may apply for transfer into the second year of the Bachelor of Education suite of courses. Students who complete the three years of study can progress to a postgraduate Initial Teacher Education qualification.  Find out more at Bachelor of Educational Studies
