SUPPORT THE HOMELESS

According to the 2016 ABS Census, there are 116,427 people who are homeless in Australia, with 60% of the people who are homeless being under 35 years old. There are also 17,845 children under 12 who are homeless in Australia. 

As part of Stage 2 Health, the current task is to create a health promotion in a group. My group has decided to focus on the issue of homelessness in South Australia, and to do this we will be collecting donations in a basket which can be found on the senior floor and middle school building. 

All donations will be appreciated such as clothes, blankets, non-perishable foods (such as canned foods). All of the donations will be collected from 7 September to 10 September and sent to Anglicare SA to help support the homeless. 

We will also be running a promotion stall on Thursday of week 8 at the middle school building at lunchtime, so come along and show your support for a good cause.
