Archbishop of Sydney Awards for Student Excellence 

The Archbishop of Sydney Awards for Student Excellence is an annual recognition of the outstanding young women and men of faith in our Catholic Schools. The award highlights the positive contribution that young people make to our school and local communities. 

The award specifically recognises those students in Year 12 who give witness to their Catholic values and contribute actively to the faith life of the school and parish. These young people show responsible participation in the life, mission, and work of the Catholic Faith community.

Congratulations to the recipient of The Archbishop of Sydney Awards for Student Excellence, Juanita Bailey.

Below is the citation that was read at the awards ceremony last week:

Juanita is a young student, who actively participates in the faith life of the College and Parish community. She brings her faith to life in her regular participation in mass and monthly youth initiatives including Sunday catechesis. Juanita holds a strong passion for social justice evidenced in her contributions to initiatives at the College and is characterised by her service to the poor and oppressed in the broader community. She draws on her deep faith in her daily life and her presence influences others in the community to follow her.

Archdiocesan Religious Education Test 2021

As a result of remote learning and the uncertainty of the return to school, the Archdiocesan Religious Education Test for Years 8 & 10 has been cancelled. 

The annual test will be undertaken in Term 4, 2022.

East Tournament
