2023 iCAN Challenge

WE MADE IT!! 

I wanted to take the opportunity to say how incredibly proud I am of our community. Today we have raised $219,000 AND COUNTING! Yes we walked from St Kilda to Frankston which is an outstanding achievement in itself but that’s not what I am most proud of. I am in awe of the sense of community that was shown throughout this event from EMC staff, students and the wider Langwarrin community. To raise over to $212,000  and to support each other to walk as one down Beach Road and Nepean Highway is something not many communities are able to achieve. 

On Thursday we had a shout out on Fox FM, featured on 3AW, had a 2min segment on 7 news and have had an article written about us in the Herald Sun. This is not what we do it for but it is nice that the students are being publically recognised for their efforts.
