Food Bank

Donations needed

Thank you for the fabulous response so far!!!

We have placed two wicker baskets in the school foyer. One will be collected weekly by the Gisborne Foodbank; for distribution to local families-in-need. The other will be collected weekly by Macedon Ranges Rural Australians for Refugees group, to be transported to refugee support groups in Melbourne.

The need has become so great, that ALL food banks are reporting a huge increase in the number of requests for assistance and most report that they simply run out of consumables before all requests can be met.

Please engage in meaningful conversation with your children about this worthwhile project and encourage your children to contribute items to our baskets whenever you are able.

Please see the list below of items most needed now.

Contact Mrs. Tulloch Virginia.tulloch@education.vic.gov.au if you would like more information.
