A Love of Learning 

It has been wonderful to see Frankie embrace all the activities and celebrations we have had this week with such enthusiasm. She discussed how we can accept each other’s differences during Harmony week and how we can save electricity during Earth Hour. Frankie even dressed up spectacularly in rainbow colours for our colour run! Go Frankie!

A Love of Learning

Congratulations to Lola, who has displayed a strong love towards learning in Foundation E. Lola has shown enthusiasm when contributing to class discussions and has demonstrated excellent work ethic. Well done, Lola!

Love of Learning

Dina displays a wonderful desire to learn. She conscientiously applies herself to all tasks. Dina loves a challenge especially in maths. She learns new sounds with ease and is an avid reader. A fantastic effort Dina. Keep up the excellent work!

Isla Baker

Kindness

Isla demonstrated wonderful helping skills during our Wellbeing session this week. She was able to look out for those around her and could describe how it felt to help others and to be helped. We are lucky to have such a kind and caring person in 1D!

Billie has been challenging herself in all subject areas – in particular Maths. She makes great efforts to listen and to give all tasks a go. She even shows initiative when solving problems she has not ever seen before. Keep it up Billie!

Daisy Tucker

Kindness

Daisy demonstrated wonderful helping skills this week. After completing her work she noticed some of her group members struggling and decided to go over and see if there was anything she could do to help. We are so lucky to have such a kind and caring student in 2S! Well done Daisy!

Kevin Zheng

Perserverance

Kevin was new to Black Rock Primary this year and has adapted extremely well to life in Australia. In his short time here he has made many friends and has become a popular person both in the classroom and on the basketball court. We have loved having Kevin in 4Z and we will miss him when he leaves.

Leon Rolls 

Bravery/Perseverance

 

Leon has shown courage as he has settled into Black Rock Primary. He listens carefully, participates enthusiastically and is working so hard to learn English. Leon should take great pride in the way he has adjusted to his new surroundings. Well done Leon!
