Jewellery Making

Year 9

What is the subject about?

A brand new subject being offered exclusively at Northern Bay College, Year 9 Jewellery and Accessory Making provides students the opportunity to express themselves creatively. By designing and constructing handmade, personalised jewellery and accessory pieces, students will finish the course with unique products they can cherish for years to come. Students will explore and experiment with a range of materials including textiles, resin and clay, while developing their understanding of safe and sustainable practices. They will document their design and production process in a folio, develop critical and creative skills and knowledge; and understand how they can begin their own small business using the knowledge and skills obtained through this course
