 Outdoor Education

Year 9

What is the subject about?

At Year 9, Outdoor Education is a fully inclusive program, that will teach important life skills, and allow students to take responsibility for their goals. Student voice and agency will be used to guide excursions and activities as students develop their connection with outdoor environments.   

 

To be successful students must develop a skill (3 months), take the time to volunteer in their community (3 months), engage in physical recreation (3 months) and complete an adventurous journey in an outdoor environment with their peers.
