Performing Arts

In performing arts classroom learning experiences, students have had lots of fun learning tuned percussion parts to accompany their Sing & Play songs. The dance 'Jumpstart' has also been explored by discussing the elements of dance and applying them to the dance to develop accuracy of the dance sequences. These elements have included timing, direction and energy.  

In Years 7 and 8 music we have been exploring the origins and history of the ukulele and learning a chord rotation to accompany a medley of songs.
