April Reading Challenge

Congratulations to Bailey D of Stirling for being nominated as ‘Reader of the Month’. He is the lucky winner of a canteen voucher.

The leading classes in the April challenge were:

1st Place – 7H2

2nd Place – 7S3

3rd Place – 7M3

Well done for all those who participated, and good luck for the month of May!

Student Progress Conferences

It was fantastic to see the overwhelming number of families book in for student progress conferences at the end of Term 1. The next SPC’s will run at the end of Term 3.

Digital Ambassadors – Leadership Opportunity

We are currently seeking interest for Digital Ambassadors in Year 7. Each form will nominate 1 person to be their class representative. The Ambassadors will be involved in meetings and running year level wide activities with their peers. A Digital Ambassador will promote safe online participation and will receive a badge for their year-long involvement. To apply, students should fill out the online form on the Yr7 2023 MS Teams Page.

Reminders

- Lost property: there are several jackets, workbooks, drink bottles and the like located outside the year 7 office. If missing an item, students are advised to check there first, then the lost property down the main corridor. Please check that all items are named correctly.

- The timetable has changed slightly. Students are advised to check compass every morning, especially for swaps between Health and PE lessons.

- Uniform: if a student is unable to wear the correct uniform, please bring a note to your student manager BEFORE school to avoid a uniform consequence.
