Junior Track & Field

The following students competed at the Australian Junior Track & Field Championships in Sydney from the 12 -16 March, achieving some outstanding results.

 

Brad Butler (U/15) - 1st Javelin, 2nd Discus, 4th Shot Put and 5th Hammer Throw

 

Michael Cann (U/17) - 3rd Long Jump and 3rd Triple Jump

 

Lawson Power (U/17) - 5th 400m.

 

Jas Carrol (U/20)- 6th Javelin and 17th Hammer Throw

 

 

Charli Shore

Last week Charli Shore of Year 9 competed in the Australian Wakeboarding Nationals. The event was held in Wagga Wagga NSW over a week, with many heats and finals. Charli had a fabulous week which culminated in her placing 3rd in Australia. 

 

We are amazingly proud of Charli’s achievements.

 

Mornington Peninsula Hockey Club

Mornington Peninsula Hockey Club is a not for profit family based club, interested in encouraging the youth on thepeninsula into a fit and healthy lifestyle through sport.

 

The winter Hockey season training has now commenced and Mornington Peninsula Hockey Club is looking for players for the Under 14 and Under 16, both boys and girls teams.

 

All teams train at Peninsula Hockey Centre. Monash University Frankston Campus.  Parking is at the end of Bloom Street. Melways 102 F4.

 

The girls train on Wednesday night 7pm – 8pm.

 

The boys train on Tuesday night 6pm - 7pm.

 

Both sections compete on a Friday night.

 

Everyone is most welcome to come and give this Olympic sport a try.
