Student Attendance

Regular school attendance is important for all children and young adults and we are required as a school to follow-up any unexplained absences. We appreciate parents who diligently report promptly on the day that their child will be away and provide a reason. Some parents and carers have found using Compass to do this very convenient. If you are entering your child's absence through Compass, after you have selected the reason please provide further brief details in the 'details/comments'. Some parents and carers have found using Compass to do this very convenient. If you would like help to use this feature in Compass, please contact the office.

If at anytime, you intend to take a family holiday of more than 3 days then a Student Absence Plan is required to be developed to support the students learning when away. Please contact your child’s teacher if you are planning a trip during a school term.
