Robo Gals 

Whilst some students attended the Canberra Camp week, other students back at school were still very busy! Over two days the group was involved in a four hour workshop with Robo Gals. 

Robo Gals University students come from a wide range of expertise from engineering to law to commerce and are all united under the cause of gender equity in engineering and technology. 

Students learnt the basics of control flow processes used in programming languages in an interactive way. They also learnt how to steer EV3 robots using a series of movement commands and the robot's colour sensor. This culminated in combining their learned knowledge during the sessions to battle other students in a large robot sumo-wrestling competition!!
