Bike Ed

This term, Year 4 students in Torrens will be taking part in the Way2Go Bike Ed program.

The program develops students’ confidence and competence as safe bike riders for travel to and from school.

Through participating in Way2Go Bike Ed, students:

gain knowledge and understanding of the road and traffic environments and relevant road laws

develop physical and cognitive skills

develop responsible behaviours, attitudes and decision-making skills for the safe use of bicycles both on and off the road.

During Weeks 2 to 6, there will be an increase in the amount of bikes and students riding to school on Fridays. Please be more vigilant when you are dropping off and collecting your children during this time.

Woolworths Earn and Learn

A big thank you to all the support from our Lockleys North community.

We had an overwhelming response and received just over 26,000 stickers in total! All stickers collected have been redeemed for some brand new sporting equipment for our school.

The children and staff of Lockleys North thank you once again and look forward to putting our brand new equipment into action.
