Fire Carriers
On Monday, we were fortunate enough to have Wadjiny (Troy) visit us for an incursion. Troy shared with us his culture, language, song and dance. He taught us that we only ever take what we need for survival. The children loved seeing Mr Green dance, and seeing how fire can be started without matches. Thanks Wadjiny for a great incursion.

We hunt to survive. It would be a waste to kill and not eat. One type of boomerang comes back. When it returns you need to catch it in a special way, so that you don't get hurt. He used special types of branches to make a fire. He was very clever. Fires are for cooking and staying warm.
