Lucas is off to the Judo National Championship

Year 12 student Lucas Gardiner has been training with the UWA Judo Club for three years, where he competed in the WA Judo State Championships earlier this year. Lucas came away with a silver and bronze medal in both his divisions, competing against belts of his colour and above.

 

Lucas is currently away competing at the Judo National Championship in Surfers Paradise, where he will be competing in three different divisions - good luck Lucas!

Robert Wins Silver

Year 11 student Robert Marchesi-Scott recently competed in the 2022 Oceania Athletic Championships in Mackay. Robert came away with some fantastic results, finishing with silver in the U18 Men's Discus Throw, throwing a whopping 54.18m. Well done Robert!
